Art Project: Goal Statement: These activities are appropriate for 3rd grade students to enhance their learning. The activities are designed to help students learn more about a subject like "dogs" or "flying insects" or "plants" or "planets" or "art" or "painting" or "sculpting" and to give them an opportunity to use technology in the classroom. Giving children a chance to learn through hands-on activities has been proven beneficial. Below are assessment ideas for the interactive activities.
Assessment:
To assess the students have them turn in a final draft of their poem or story about the topic along with their art project. Grade each student on the finished products. Poem/Story: Check grammar, spelling errors, and appropriate content Art Projects: Evaluate creativity, time/effort, and story appropriateness. Ideas for your project:
Give grades, to students, on both projects according to the following scale: 90-100 A 80-89 B 70-79 C 60-69 D 59-below F |
